Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Alumli. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Eligibility
Alumli is invite-only. You may register only with a valid invite code provided by an admin of your cohort. You must be at least 16 years old.
2. Your account
- Use accurate information. Don't impersonate anyone.
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, dox, or discriminate against other members.
- Post unlawful, deceptive, sexually explicit, or violent content.
- Send spam, scrape the directory, or harvest contact information.
- Reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Use the service to send unsolicited commercial offers.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant Alumli a limited licence to store, display, and transmit your content as needed to run the service. You can delete your content at any time from the app.
5. Moderation
Admins may hide or remove content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including without notice if necessary to protect members.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We can suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms. On termination, your personal data is handled per the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement. Member content is the responsibility of the member who posted it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Alumli is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in the Imprint. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
